Four Corners

• The student in the middle will cover their eyes and count
down from 10 to 0, loudly and slowly.
• Everyone else moves to one of the four corners, very
quietly.
• When the person in the middle finishes counting, she
chooses a number from 1 to 4 (with her eyes still closed).
Anyone standing in the corner she chose has to sit down.
• Anyone who isn’t in a corner when the counting is done
has to sit down.

Hot/Cold

• student goes out into the hallway while you hide the object he
or she has to search for. When the student comes back in, the
class will yell hot, warmer, or cold, depending on how close he
or she is to the missing object.

Simon Says

• Students must do only what Simon tells them to do. If Simon
says is not at the beginning of the request all of the students
that comply are out.

Story Go-Round

• Students sit in a circle and each student ads a sentence when
it’s their turn creating a story.

Scavenger Hunts

• History, Holiday, Seasonal inspired scavenger hunts.
Dress Up
• Exploring imagination to learn about different careers and
ocupaitons.

Flash Cards

• Whichever student names the appropriate color, item, or
answer to the math problem first wins a point.
• Around The World

Puppet Shows

• Students will plan and put on lesson orientated puppet
shows for other student.

Sing Along & Dancing

• ABC’s
• Hokey Pokey
• Nursery Rhymes
• Musical Chairs
• Hot Potato

Board Games

• Sorry!
• Monopoly

• Stretching, yoga & breathing exercises
• Reading – quiet time in our library with book of choice
• Computer Lab with learning, educational and age appropriate entertainment websites
